Recorded by the multi-platinum winning sound engineer JIMI MAROUDAS (The Living End, Eskimo Joe), HIVE Park’s debut album
“things we should have said…” launches at MEMO Music Hall, St. Kilda in June.
Consisting of vocals, guitars, violin and percussion, HIVE Park is an indie rock/pop outfit featuring lyrical purity and sensitive instrumental arrangements.
“I was blown away with the intimacy and depth of the material.” (Maroudas)
HIVE Park are: CASSIE SERPELL (vocals/acoustic guitar); JEREMY BLACKMAN (violin/backing vocals); ILIAS TSINANIS (bass); FABRIZIO GIORGIO (drums/percussion) and featuring guest artists CURTIS SERPELL-MARTIN (rap vocals), JOHNNY SCHOFIELD (electric guitar), RUBY PASKAS (violin).
After tragedy struck the band in the form of a major accident, 3 years on HIVE Park are back together to launch their new album.
Its 11-tracks push music boundaries with a blend of rock riffs, pared-back folk and lush violin.
“…these stories are not only strong and beautiful – they need to be told.” (Maroudas)
