Iconic Melbourne Jazz pianist, Bob Sedergreen loves to be the lynch pin presenting musicians who deserve to be recognised in their own right but this time he’s gone too far choosing musicians from multiple settings who have never performed together. Including:
Fem Belling– voice & violin. Fem grew up playing and singing Jazz as part of a well-known South African musical family. She then spent time working gigs and stage shows London’s West End. Fem’s vivacious personality and fun loving nature together with a fearless approach has made her a household name in Melbourne’s jazz community
Gianni Marinucci,- trumpet/flugelhorn, a distinctive voice on horn, reminiscent of players like Chet Baker, Art Farmer and Bobby Shew. A sophisticated international Gianni fronts two in demand bands Swing Shift and his Nonet.
Evripedes Evripidu– electric bass. Emotional, gifted, Evri’s bass playing can display technical brilliance without compromising emotional satisfaction. Evri’s work is always musical with a capital M. He is a close colleague of superstar drummer/percussionist David Jones.
Mark Voogd- drummer. Mark Voogd is a modern jazz drummer reminiscent of the style of Jimmy Cobb, a tasteful, versatile, and sensitive player who responds perfectly to his fellow musicians.
Don’t miss this one-off performance!
