The Cartridge Family

MEMO Music Hall Rocks Gala – an event sponsored by the City Of Port Phillip is set to treat music lovers to a magical night celebrating live music in MEMO’s history as it evolved from a cinema from the 1930s, a famous recording studio in the 60s to where it is today – a much-loved music venue in the heart of St Kilda.

Compered by writer and music activist MICHAEL CRANE, the MEMO Hall Rocks Gala brings a smorgasbord of acclaimed singers and musicians¬† including ANGIE HART (Frente), REBECCA BARNARD, LISA MILLER, who will be backed by MD SHANE O’MARA’s all-star band, GEORGE WILSON, moody alt-rock music of FENN WILSON, the swampy blues of ALISON FERRIER, with the night ending with the hilarious three-part harmonies of THE CARTRIDGE FAMILY, this Gala will be filmed as part of a documentary.

THE CARTRIDGE FAMILY comprises of RUSTY BERTHA-RICH from the legendary comedy duo The Scared Weird Little Guys, songstresses SUZANNAH ESPIE and SARAH CARROLL from acclaimed bands the Junes, Git and violin maestro GREG FIELDS.

SHANE O’MARA is an acclaimed guitarist and record producer who has been the musical director at the much lauded tributes at MEMO Music Hall to Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

If you love live music and St Kilda, MEMO MUSIC HALL ROCKS GALA is not to be missed. Be a part of history.
