Painters & Dockers are back!!!!
Melbourne music institution, The Painters & Dockers, return to their spiritual home of St. Kilda on Friday March 19. The band will finally launch their latest live vinyl album, ‘YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO’ at MEMO Music Hall in Acland Street.
The album features the band at their blistering best accompanied by their legendary three-piece brass section, The Brassholes, with special guests Jenny Pineapple and Dali Batz.
Original member and trumpet player Dave Pace announced, “No bug is stopping us. The new album was recorded during the 2020 Sunnyboys tour. In fact, it was our very last show prior to lockdown. It was so much fun. We captured great versions of our songs during the shows, hence the new album. We can’t wait to hit the stage again and Dock on”
Special guests on the night will be Pelvis. Pelvis are a young three piece, all girl, Post Punk outfit from Adelaide.
