South Of The Border showcases performers who all live south of the Yarra (sorry, northsiders). This is going to be a rip snortin’ good time, so be sure to book early!!!  Now everybody sing: South of the border, down St Kilda waaaaay.

Tony Martin
An author, filmmaker, standup comic and star of TV and radio, Tony Martin is a bona fide Australian comedy legend (and like many Australian legends, he’s originally from New Zealand).

Tony is a longtime St Kilda fixture; he has a podcast called ‘Sizzletow’ that you should definitely listen to.

Nazeem Hussain
Elsternwick based comedian Nazeem has become one of the most in-demand TV and radio personalities in Australia. From the Comedy Festival Gala to I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here; from Q & A to Balls Of Steel (possibly the only person to have been on both!). Nazeem has a rating hit on his hands with his brand new, very funny Channel 7 sketch comedy show Orange Is The New Brown.

Sarah Bennetto
Our MC for the night is a former Melburnian now based in London. Sarah is back visiting family for Christmas, so we couldn’t resist this opportunity to have her on the bill.

A skillful raconteur, Sarah is the founder of Storyteller’s Club UK and regularly performs throughout the UK at theatres, clubs, and arts festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe. She is also a well known face at music festivals with her annual backstage radio show at Glastonbury Festival being a cult favourite for listeners and musicians alike.
“Sarah Bennetto is a storyteller par excellence” – Time Out, London
