MEMO is excited to host the return of  THE WILBURY LEGENDS’ performance of the music and stories of the Traveling Wilburys. The supergroup formed by George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. Their first single “Handle Me With Care” burst onto the airwaves and became an immediate smash. Their joyous sound hearkens back to the roots of rock and roll.

The Wilbury Legends present their show with the same attitude and sense of fun. Talent, originality, strong audience rapport and a healthy dash of humour makes for an an unforgettable experience featuring sensational vocals, knockout harmonies and gargantuan guitar work in their reimagining of a truly great band.

The Legends are fronted by Field, See & Mason, an awesome vocal trio with a long list of credits:

Lindsay Field is well-known as a singer with John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Glenn Shorrock and Renee Geyer and for producing the Myer Christmas album.

For over 20 years Sam See (music director) was an original member of Sherbet before stints with Flying Circus and Fraternity, John Farnham Band, Goanna and Brian Cadd. He also served as music director on Steve Vizard’s Tonight Live.

Glyn Mason arrived from NZ with The Rebels and has been a member of famed Australian bands Chain, Ariel and Copperwine before forming Stockley, See & Mason.

They are supported by a stellar band consisting of Angus Burchall – drums (John Farnham Band/ Black Sorrows/Olivia Newton-John), Paul Cartwright bass (David Bridie/ Brian Cadd/ Kate Ceberano/ Glenn Shorrock), and John Grant – keyboards (Hugh Jackman/ Frankie J Holden/ Wendy Stapleton)

Life is too short – Don’t miss them!
